The Commander, First Coast Guard District, has issued a
temporary deviation from the drawbridge operation regulations for the
Metro North Bridge, mile 1.0, across the Mianus River at Greenwich,
Connecticut. This temporary deviation will allow the bridge to remain
in the closed position during three periods: November 26, through
December 6, 2001;

The Coast Guard is establishing temporary fixed security zones
around the Florida Power Crystal River nuclear power plant located at
the end of the Florida Power Corporation Channel, Crystal River,
Florida. The security zones are needed for national security reasons to
protect the public and the power plant from potential subversive acts.
