As a part of its review of regulations under section 2222 of the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 (Pub. L. 104208, Sept. 30, 1996) (EGRPRA), the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) is reducing regulatory burden on savings associations by updating and revising various application and reporting requirements.

In this notice of proposed rulemaking (proposal), OTS is proposing changes to, and soliciting comment on, its Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) regulations in two areas to reduce burden.
