This final rule provides a new preparation option that allows mailers to place flatsize automation rate mailpieces together in packages with flatsize Presorted rate mailpieces of the same mail class. This new option is called ``copackaging'' and will be available beginning March 31, 2002 for use with FirstClass Mail, Periodicals, or Standard Mail.
