DOCUMENT SUMMARY: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Alpharma, Inc. The NADA provides for the use of approved, singleingredient Type A medicated articles containing laidlomycin and chlortetracycline to formulate twoway combination drug Type C medicated feeds for cattle fed in confinement for slaughter.
