DOCUMENT SUMMARY:
Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995
(44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Secretariat will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a currently
approved information collection requirement for the ArchitectEngineer Qualifications

form (SF 330). The clearance currently expires on December 31, 2006.
Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the FAR, and whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of the public burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection ofinformation on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
A. Purpose
Standard Form 330, Part I is used by all Executive agencies to obtain information from architectengineer firms interested in a particular project. The information on the form is reviewed by a selection panel composed of professional people and assists the panel in selecting the most qualified architectengineer firm to perform the specific project. The form is designed to provide a uniform method for architectengineer firms to submit information on experience, personnel, capabilities of the architectengineer firm to perform along with information on the consultants they expect to collaborate with on the specific project.
Standard Form 330, Part II is used by all Executive agencies to
obtain general uniform information about a firm's experience in
architectengineering projects. Architectengineer firms are encouraged
to update the form annually. The information obtained on this form is
used to determine if a firm should be solicited for architectengineer projects.

Respondents: 5,000.
Responses Per Respondent: 4.
Total Responses: 20,000.
Hours Per Response: 29.
