In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice announces that the Information Collection abstracted below will be submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval. The nature of the information collection is described as well as its expected burden. The Federal Register Notice with a 60day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on June 25, 2007. No comments were received.

Maritime Administration (MARAD).
Title of Collection: War Risk Insurance, Applications and Related Information.
OMB Control Number: 21330011.
Type of Request: Extension of currently approved information collection.
Affected Public: Vessel owners or charterers interested in participating in MARAD's war risk insurance program.
Form Numbers: MA355; MA528; MA742; MA828, and MA942.
Abstract: As authorized by Section 1202, Title XII, Merchant Marine Act, 1936, as amended, the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation may provide war risk insurance adequate for the needs of the waterborne commerce of the United States if such insurance cannot be obtained on reasonable terms from qualified insurance companies operating in the United States. This collection is required for the program.
Expiration Date of Approval: Three years from date of approval by the Office of Management and Budget.
Annual Estimated Burden Hours: 1378 hours.
