Abstract: The purpose of this study is to invesigate the technology experiences included in preservice teacher preparation programs, as well as how teachers use technology in the classroom. A threephase grounded theory research design employs (1) educational technology faculty and general induction teacher surveys, (2) educational technology faculty and accomplished technologyusing teacher phone interviews, and (3) case studies of teacher education programs and accomplished technologyusing teachers.
