CT DEP Environmental Conservation Police (EnCon Police) Arrest Three Bristol Men For Illegal Deer Hunting And Killing A Dog In Watertown
  Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Environmental Conservation Police (EnCon Police) along with officers from the Connecticut State Police and Watertown Police Department responded to a report of a dog beign shot and killed by a hunter in a lot off of Plungis Road in Watertown Thursday morning.

  The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) State Environmental Conservation Police (EnCon Police) arrested two New Milford men on several hunting charges today after an investigation into a hunting complaint in the town of Washington, Connecticut.

Governor Rell Announces $10.2 Million In Open Space Grants To 29 Communities
  Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced $10.2 million in grants to help purchase or preserve approximately 2,440 acres of open space in 29 cities and towns across Connecticut.
