Arctic Ocean Outer Continental Shelf Seismic Surveys - 2006
Final Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA)
for
Seismic Surveys in the Northeast Chukchi Sea & Western Beaufort Sea Planning Areas

The PEA supports the Minerals Management Service permitting process and regulatory authority for geophysical and scientific research seismic surveys. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) agreed to become a cooperating agency and proposes to adopt this PEA as authorized by 40 CFR 1506.3 as its own NEPA statement.
