Center marshals federal resources to assist U.S. firms competing for 
foreign government procurements worldwide. The Advocacy Center is under 
the umbrella of the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee (TPCC), 
which is chaired by the Secretary of Commerce and includes 19 federal 
agencies involved in export promotion. The mission of the Advocacy 
Center is to promote U.S. exports and create U.S. jobs and coordinate

science research related to the human dimensions of the utilization of 
living marine resources. This process has been initiated in order to 
expedite the approval process for future specific data collections.
