  <title><![CDATA[  Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation; Notice of Availability of  Draft Environmental Assessment]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ December 21, 2000.</p><p>    A Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) is available for public 
review. The DEA is for an application to surrender the license for the 
Station 160 Hydroelectric Project. The DEA finds that approval of the 
application, to include certain actions recommended by Commission 
staff, would not constitute a major federal action significantly 
affecting the quality of the human environment. The Station 160 Project 
is located on the Genesee River in Livingston County, New York.
</p><p>    The DEA was written by staff in the Office of Energy Projects, 
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Copies of the DEA can be obtained

  <title><![CDATA[  Aquamac Corporation; Merrimac Paper Company, Inc.; Notice of  Availability of Final Environmental Assessment]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ December 21, 2000.</p><p>    In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 
and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (Commission) 
regulations, 18 CFR Part 380 (Order No. 486, 52 FR 47897), the Office 
of Energy Projects has reviewed the applications for new licenses for 
the Aquamac and Merrimac Hydroelectric Projects, located on the 
Merrimack River in the city of Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts, 
and has prepared a Multiple Project Environmental Assessment (MPEA) for  the projects.</p><p>    On October 15, 1999, the Commission staff issued and distributed to 
all parties a draft MPEA on the projects, and requested that comments 
be <strong>filed</strong> with the Commission within 30 days. Comments were <strong>filed</strong> and  are addressed in the final MPEA.</p><p>    This final MPEA contains the staff's analysis of the potential 
environmental impacts of the projects and concludes that licensing the 
projects, with appropriate environmental measures, would not constitute

  <title><![CDATA[  Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America; Notice of Compliance  Filing]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ December 22, 2000.</p><p>    Take notice that on November 20, 2000, Natural Gas Pipeline Company 
of America (Natural) tendered its compliance filing with the 
Commission's Order on Filings to Establish Imbalance Netting and 
Trading Pursuant to Order Nos. 587G and 587L [93 FERC para. 61,093  (2000)] issued on October 27, 2000 (October 27 Order).</p><p>    Natural states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with  the requirements of the October 27 Order.</p><p>    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be <strong>filed</strong> on 
or before December 29, 2000. Protests will be considered by the 
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will 
not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies of 
this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for

  <title><![CDATA[  Natural Gas Trading Corporation; Notice of Issuance of Order]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ December 22, 2000.</p><p>    Natural Gas Trading Corporation (NGTC) submitted for filing a rate 
schedule under which NGTC will engage in wholesale electric power and 
energy transactions at marketbased rates. NGTC also requested waiver 
of various Commission regulations. In particular, NGTC requested that 
the Commission grant blanket approval under 18 CFR Part 34 of all 
future issuances of securities and assumptions of liability by NGTC.
</p><p>    On December 13, 2000, pursuant to delegated authority, the 
Director, Division of Corporate Applications, Office of Markets, 
Tariffs and Rates, granted requests for blanket approval under Part 34,  subject to the following:</p><p>    Within thirty days of the date of the order, any person desiring to 
be heard or to protest the blanket approval of issuances of securities 
or assumptions of liability by NGTC should file a motion to intervene 
or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First
