The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering issuance of an exemption from Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) part 50, Appendix E, Sections IV.F.2.b and c for Facility Operating License No. NPF90, issued to Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA or the licensee), for operation of the Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant (WBN), Unit 1, located in Rhea County, Tennessee.
