  <title><![CDATA[  Notice of Availability of Final Environmental Impact Statement  for an Early Site Permit (ESP) at the North Anna ESP]]></title>

</p><p>    Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission  (NRC)<br/> [[Page 76706]]<br/>
has published NUREG1811, ``Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for an 
Early Site Permit (ESP) at the North Anna ESP Site: Final Report'' 
(FEIS). The FEIS contains two volumes. The site is located in Louisa 
County, Virginia, near the Town of Mineral. A notice of availability of 
the draft EIS was published in the Federal Register on December 12, 
2004 (69 FR 71854), and a supplement to the draft EIS was subsequently  published on July 12, 2006 (71 FR 39372).</p><p>    The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the FEIS is 
available for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) 
located at One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike (First Floor), 
Rockville, Maryland 20852, or from the Publicly Available Records 
component of NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System 
(ADAMS), and will also be placed directly on the NRC Web site at

  <title><![CDATA[
PPL Susquehanna, LLC; Notice of Correction to the Public Scoping  Comment Period for the Environmental Impact Statement]]></title>

</p><p>    Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission 
(NRC or the Commission) has corrected the public scoping comment period 
for the plantspecific supplement to the ``Generic Environmental Impact 
Statement (GEIS),'' NUREG1437, regarding the renewal of operating 
licenses NPF14 and NPF22 for an additional 20 years of operation at 
the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES), Units 1 and 2.
</p><p>    The application for renewal was received on September 13, 2006, 
pursuant to 10 CFR Part 54. A notice of Receipt and Availability of the 
license renewal application (LRA), was published in the Federal 
Register on October 2, 2006 (71 FR 58014). A notice of acceptability 
for docketing, notice of opportunity for a hearing and notice of intent 
to prepare an environmental impact statement and conduct scoping 
process, was published in the Federal Register on November 2, 2006 (71  FR 64566).</p><p>    The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the NRC has

</p><p>    Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission 
(NRC, Commission) has published a draft plantspecific supplement to 
the Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License Renewal of 
Nuclear Plants (GEIS), NUREG1437, regarding the renewal of operating 
licenses DPR28 for an additional 20 years of operation for the Vermont 
Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Vermont Yankee). Vermont Yankee is 
located in the town of Vernon, Vermont, in Windham County on the west 
shore of the Connecticut River. Possible alternatives to the proposed 
action (license renewal) include no action and reasonable alternative  energy sources.</p>

information, analyze relevant issues and facts, and formulate proposed
