  <title><![CDATA[  CSX Transportation, Inc.--Abandonment Exemption--in Ware County,  GA]]></title>

</p><p>    CSX Transportation, Inc. (CSXT), has filed a notice of exemption 
\1\ under 49 CFR part 1152 subpart FExempt Abandonments to abandon a 
1.08mile rail line on CSXT's Southern Region, Jacksonville Division, 
Fitzgerald Subdivision, between mileposts AP 588.84 and AP 587.76 in 
Waycross, Ware County, GA. The line traverses United States Postal  Service Zip Codes 31501 and 31503.<br/>
    \1\ CSXT also filed a petition seeking exemption from the offer 
of financial assistance provisions of 49 U.S.C. 10904. The merits of  the petition will be addressed in a separate decision.</p><p>    CSXT has certified that: (1) No local traffic has moved over the 
line for at least 2 years; (2) any overhead traffic on the line can be 
rerouted over other lines; (3) no formal complaint filed by a user of 
rail service on the line (or by a state or local government entity 
acting on behalf of such user) regarding cessation of service over the 
line either is pending with the Surface Transportation Board or with 
any U.S. District Court<script type="text/javascript">
