Agenda and Notice of Public Meeting of the Mississippi Advisory  Committee]]></title>

</p><p>    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and 
regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission), and 
the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that a planning meeting of 
the Mississippi Advisory Committee to the Commission will convene by 
conference call at 1 p.m. and adjourn at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 
13, 2007. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct planning for a 2008  SAC project.</p><p>    This meeting is available to the public through the following toll
free callin number: (866) 3647584, conference call access code number 
24128876. Any interested member of the public may call this number and 
listen to the meeting. Callers can expect to incur charges for calls 
they initiate over wireless lines, and the Commission will not refund 
any incurred charges. Callers will incur no charge for calls they 
initiate over landline connections to the tollfree telephone number. 
Persons with hearing impairments may also follow the proceedings by

</p><p>    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and 
regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and the regulations 
of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that a meeting of the 
Utah Advisory Committee will convene at 6 p.m. and adjourn at 8 p.m. 
(MST) on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Horizonte Instruction and 
Training Center, 1234 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101.
</p><p>    The purpose of the meeting is for the committee to discuss recent 
Commission and regional activities, review a draft of summary report on 
civil rights issues affecting American Indians in Utah and plan future  activities.</p><p>    Members of the public are entitled to submit written comments; the 
comments must be received in the Rocky Mountain Regional Office by

Agenda and Notice of Public Meeting of the Virginia Advisory  Committee]]></title>

</p><p>    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and 
regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission), and 
the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that a briefing meeting of 
the Immigration Subcommittee of the Virginia Advisory Committee to the 
Commission will convene at 9:30 a.m. and adjourn at 12:30 p.m. on 
December 14, 2007, in the Board Chambers at the James J. McCoart 
Administration Building located at One County Complex Court in  Woodbridge, Virginia.</p><p>    The purpose of the briefing is to hear from local officials and 
advocacy groups about the recent immigration resolution in Prince 
William County. Following the briefing, the entire Virginia State 
Advisory Committee will conduct a planning meeting to discuss future  activities.</p><p>    Members of the public are entitled to submit written comments; the 
comments must be received in the Eastern Regional Office by December
