Title: Child Care CaseLevel Report.

Description: Section 658K of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 (P.L. 101508, 42 U.S.C. 9858) requires that States and Territories submit monthly caselevel data on the children and families receiving direct services under the Child Care and Development Fund. The implementing regulations for the statutorily required reporting are at 45 CFR 98.70. Caselevel reports, submitted quarterly or monthly (at grantee option), include monthly sample or full population caselevel data. The data elements to be included in these reports are represented in the ACF801. ACF uses disaggregate data to determine program and participant characteristics as well as costs and levels of child care services provided. This provides ACF with the information necessary to make reports to Congress, address national child care needs, offer technical assistance to grantees, meet performance measures, and conduct research. Title: TANF Time Limits Interview Guides for Site Visits.

Description: The imposition of federally imposed time limits on the receipt of cash assistance under the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program was a central part of welfare reform. The Task Order on Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Separate State Programs, Time Limits and Participation Requirements seeks to understand how states have implemented TANF time limits and what effects they have had on families receiving TANF. It provides an update to a previous TANF time limits study now that most states now have had several years of experience with the 60month time limit under varying economic conditions. The project draws on qualitative research conducted through eight site visits as well as quantitative reserach using state administrative records.
