  <title><![CDATA[  Safety Zone: Ambrose Light, Offshore Sandy Hook, NJ, Atlantic  Ocean]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone in the 
waters of the Atlantic Ocean within a 250 yard radius of Ambrose Light 
(LLNR 720) located at position 40[deg]27'00'' N, 073[deg]48'00'' W, 
approximately 8.35 nautical miles east of Sandy Hook, NJ. This safety 
zone is necessary to provide for the safety of life, property and the 
environment on navigable waters of the United States during survey and 
reconstruction of the Ambrose Light that was recently damaged. This 
safety zone is intended to keep vessels a safe distance from Ambrose 
Light during the survey and reconstruction operations.

  <title><![CDATA[
Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman; DHS  CIS Ombudsman Case Problem Submission]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ The Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Citizenship 
and Immigration Services Ombudsman, submits this extension for the 
following information collection request (ICR) to the Office of 
Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance in accordance with 
the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 10413, 44 U.S.C. Chapter 
35). The Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman 
is soliciting comments concerning an extension to an existing 
information collection, DHS CIS Ombudsman Case Problem Submission, DHS 
Form 7001. The information collection was previously published in the 
Federal Register on September 26, 2007, at 72 FR 54669, allowing for 
OMB review and a 60day public comment period. Comments received by DHS 
are being reviewed as applicable. The purpose of this notice is to 
allow an additional 30 days for public comments.

  <title><![CDATA[  Introduction of the Amended Form I-9 and the New Handbook for  Employers]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is issuing this 
Notice to introduce the newly amended Form I9, ``Employment 
Eligibility Verification.'' Employers are required to use the Form I9 
to verify the identity and employment authorization of newly hired 
employees. The amended Form I9 contains an updated list of acceptable 
identity and employment authorization documents that reflect the 
current regulations. As of November 7, 2007, the amended Form I9 is 
the only valid version of the form. The Department of Homeland Security 
will not seek penalties against an employer for using a previous 
version of the Form I9 on or before December 26, 2007.
