  <title><![CDATA[  Champion Laboratories, Inc. Albion, IL Including an Employee of  Champion Laboratories, Inc., Albion, IL Located in]]></title>

</p><p>    In accordance with section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification Regarding 
Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on September 15, 
2005, applicable to workers of Champion Laboratories, Inc., Albion, 
Illinois. The notice was published in the Federal Register on October  31, 2005 (70 FR 62347).</p><p>    At the request of the State agency, the Department reviewed the 
certification for workers of the subject firm. New information shows 
that a worker separation occurred involving an employee of the Albion, 
Illinois facility of Champion Laboratories, Inc. located in Bristol, 
Connecticut. Mr. Armedee Nadeau provided sales support services for the 
production of filters at the Albion, Illinois location of the subject  firm.</p><p>    Based on these findings, the Department is amending this 
certification to include an employee of the Albion, Illinois facility 
of Champion Laboratories, Inc. located in Bristol, Connecticut.

  <title><![CDATA[  Edward Fields, Inc. Currently Known As Jack & Joel, Inc., College  Point, NY; Amended Certification Regarding]]></title>

</p><p>    In accordance with section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 
2273), and section 246 of the Trade Act of 1974, (26 U.S.C. 2813), as 
amended, the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility 
to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance and Alternative Trade 
Adjustment Assistance on September 23, 2005, applicable to workers of 
Edward Fields, Inc., College Point, New York. The notice was published  in the Federal Register on October 31, 2005 (70 FR 62347).</p><p>    At the request of the State agency, the Department reviewed the 
certification for workers of the subject firm. The workers are engaged  in the production of custom made carpets and rugs.</p><p>    The subject firm originally named Edward Fields, Inc., was renamed 
Jack & Joel, Inc. in April 2005 due to a change in ownership. The State 
agency reports that workers wages at the subject firm are being 
reported under the Unemployment Insurance (UI) tax account for Jack &  Joel, Inc., College Point, New York.</p><p>    Accordingly, the Department<script type="text/javascript">

  <title><![CDATA[  Notice of Determinations Regarding Eligibility To Apply for  Worker Adjustment Assistance]]></title>

</p><p>    In accordance with section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974, as 
amended, (19 U.S.C. 2273), the Department of Labor herein presents 
summaries of determinations regarding eligibility to apply for trade 
adjustment assistance for workers (TAW) number and alternative trade 
adjustment assistance (ATAA) by (TAW) number issued during the periods  of October and November 2005.</p><p>    In order for an affirmative determination to be made and a 
certification of eligibility to apply for directlyimpacted (primary) 
worker adjustment assistance to be issued, each of the group 
eligibility requirements of section 222(a) of the Act must be met.
I. Section (a)(2)(A) All of the Following Must Be Satisfied
</p><p>    A. A significant number or proportion of the workers in such 
workers' firm, or an appropriate subdivision of the firm, have become 
totally or partially separated, or are threatened to become totally or  partially separated;</p><p>    B. The sales or production, or both, of such firm or subdivision

  <title><![CDATA[  Investigations Regarding Certifications of Eligibility to Apply  for Worker Adjustment Assistance]]></title>

</p><p>    Petitions have been filed with the Secretary of Labor under Section 
221(a) of the Trade Act of 1974 (``the Act'') and are identified in the 
Appendix to this notice. Upon receipt of these petitions, the Director 
of the Division of Trade Adjustment Assistance, Employment and Training 
Administration, has instituted investigations pursuant to Section  221(a) of the Act.</p><p>    The purpose of each of the investigations is to determine whether 
the workers are eligible to apply for adjustment assistance under Title 
II, Chapter 2, of the Act. The investigations will further relate, as 
appropriate, to the determination of the date on which total or partial 
separations began or threatened to begin and the subdivision of the  firm involved.</p><p>    The petitioners or any other persons showing a substantial interest 
in the subject matter of the investigations may request a public 
hearing, provided such request is filed in writing with the Director, 
Division of Trade Adjustment Assistance, at the address shown be<script type="text/javascript">

</p><p>    In accordance with section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 
2273), and section 246 of the Trade Act of 1974 (26 U.S.C. 2813), as 
amended, the Department of Labor issued a Certification Regarding 
Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance and Alternative 
Trade Adjustment Assistance on October 28, 2005, applicable to workers 
of Lea Industries, LaZBoy Greensboro, Inc., Morristown, Tennessee.  The notice will soon be published in the Federal Register.</p><p>    At the request of the State Agency, the Department reviewed the 
certification for workers of the subject firm. The workers receive, 
inspect, ship, and warehouse bedroom and dining room furniture.
</p><p>    The firm formerly produced bedroom furniture at this facility and 
all workers of Lea Industries in Morristown, Tennessee, were certified 
eligible to apply for worker adjustment assistance under petition  number TAW52,200, that expired July 22, 2005.</p><p>    In order to avoid an overlap in worker group coverage, the

  <title><![CDATA[  Mueller Copper Tube Products, Inc., Subsidiary of Mueller  Industries, Inc., Wynne, AR; Notice of Negative]]></title>

</p><p>    The United States Court of International Trade (USCIT) granted the 
Secretary of Labor's motion for a voluntary remand in Former Employees 
of Mueller Copper Tube Products, Inc. v. Elaine Chao, U.S. Secretary of  Labor, Court No. 0500442.</p><p>    The Department's initial negative determination for the former 
workers of Mueller Copper Tube Products, Inc., a subsidiary of Mueller 
Industries, Inc., Wynne, Arkansas (hereafter ``Mueller Copper Tube 
Products'') for Trade Adjustment Assistance (``TAA'') was issued on May 
17, 2005. The Notice of determination was published in the Federal  Register on June 13, 2005 (70 FR 34154).</p><p>    The petition for the workers of Mueller Copper Tube Products 
engaged in the production of copper tube products was denied because 
the ``contributed importantly'' group eligibility requirement of 
Section 222 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended, was not met, nor was 
there a shift in production from that firm to a foreign country. The

investigation was initiated on October 28, 2005 in response to a 
petition filed by a company official on behalf of workers of New  Riverside Ochre Company, Cartersville, Georgia.</p><p>    The petitioner has requested that the petition be withdrawn.
