Colorado, hereby gives notice that certain coal resources in the lands 
hereinafter described in Garfield County, Colorado, will be offered for 
competitive lease by sealed bid in accordance with the provisions of 
the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, as amended (30 U.S.C. 181 et seq.).

  <title><![CDATA[  Notice of Intent To Prepare Planning Analyze/Environmental  Assessments]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ This document provides notice that the Bureau of Land 
Management (BLM), Jackson Field Office, Eastern States intends to 
prepare Planning Analysis/Environmental Assessment (PA/EA) to consider 
leasing one tract of Federal mineral estate for oil and gas exploration 
and development. The PA/EA will fulfill the needs and obligations set 
forth by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Federal Land 
Policy and Management Act (FLPMA), and BLM management policies. The BLM 
will work collaboratively with interested parties to identify the 
management decisions that are best suited to local, regional, and 
national needs and concerns.

  <title><![CDATA[  Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Work Group (AMWG), Notice of  Meeting]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ The Adaptive Management Program (AMP) was implemented as a 
result of the Record of Decision on the Operation of Glen Canyon Dam 
Final Environmental Impact Statement to comply with consultation 
requirements of the Grand Canyon Protection Act (P.L. 102575) of 1992. 
The AMP provides an organization and process to ensure the use of 
scientific information in decision making concerning Glen Canyon Dam 
operations and protection of the affected resources consistent with the 
Grand Canyon Protection Act. The AMP has been organized and includes a 
federal advisory committee (AMWG), a technical work group (TWG), a 
monitoring and research center, and independent review panels. The TWG 
is a subcommittee of the AMWG and provides technical advice and 
information for the AMWG to act upon.
