We are amending the Asian longhorned beetle regulations by
adding portions of Middlesex and Union Counties, NJ, to the list of
quarantined areas and restricting the interstate movement of regulated
articles from those areas. This action is necessary to prevent the
artificial spread of the Asian longhorned beetle into noninfested areas
of the

We are amending the emerald ash borer regulations by adding
areas in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio to the list of areas quarantined
because of emerald ash borer. As a result of this action, the
interstate movement of regulated articles from those areas is
restricted. This action is necessary to prevent the artificial spread
of the emerald ash borer

We are adopting as a final rule, without change, two interim
rules regarding Oriental fruit fly. The first interim rule designated a
portion of Orange County, CA, as a quarantined area and provided for
the use of spinosad bait spray as an alternative treatment for
premises. The second interim rule removed the quarantine on that
portion of Orange
